Overview

Bones are the single biggest cause of leakers on a bone-in line. A sharp rib or shank tip punctures the outer bag, the seal fails, and product is lost — or worse, makes it to the customer and comes back as a claim.

The Waxed Bone Cover goes on first, cushioning the bone before the outer bag is applied. Processors routinely cut leaker rates to 1% or less and run thinner, less expensive outer film as a result — savings that add up to over $250,000 a year on a single line.
